Yearly Reflections

This year was like every year in the sense that during this year a lot happened. This year is different in how much the events of this year have changed me. So here's a moment to reflect on this past year:

  • I wasn't arrested this year.
  • I didn't go to the emergency room this year.
  • I was a part of the Metro Nashville Honors Orchestra.
  • I went to NSA's prom, April 12th.
  • I met Jerry, Kris, Coty and Dan.
  • I turned eighteen.
  • I got my ears pierced a second time.
  • I graduated NSA on May 14th.
  • I had oral surgery to remove my wisdom teeth May 15th.
  • I attended TenRen.
  • I started dating Jerry May 18th.
  • I celebrated Jerry's 25th birthday with him, his family, and his friends on May 26th.
  • My grandmother was diagnosed with cancer again.
  • I had knee surgery on June 9th.
  • I had to go through physical therapy.
  • I went downtown for 4th of July.
  • I attended East Tennessee State University orientation.
  • I attended Eddie Izzard with Jerry.
  • My sister got married August 2nd.
  • I got to go Gatlinburg for the first time in years.
  • I started college at East Tennessee State University on August 25th.
  • I joined the Fencing club at ETSU.
  • I started ballroom dancing. Tango's still the best.
  • Eli and Jerry visited me at college.
  • I had one of the best Halloween ever.
  • I went home for Thanksgiving.
  • I went ice skating with friends.
  • I went bowling with friends.
  • I survived Freshman Finals.
  • I came home for winter break.
  • I spent Christmas with my family and Jerry's.
  • I've met the vast majority of Jerry's family.
  • I lost a lot of great friends but I gained a lot of new ones.
  • I learned a lot of things in class and a lot of things out of class.
  • I learned a lot of things about myself.
  • I met the love of my life.
  • I'll keep growing and keep looking to the future.
  • I'll take each day as it comes and look forward to the next day.
